Our client is an art & design studio creating images for a broad spectrum of adventurous clients in a broad range of industries, from luxury goods, cosmetics, to biotech and automotive. Founded in 2019, they are dedicated to creating exquisite imagery, and speculative digital realities.
Our client is new with us, having on-boarded them at the beginning of this year.
However, the relationship has developed over this short time, and we were more than happy to assist them with their request for help with an office move.
The office move was to a much larger space, our client wanted help to set up a project to help them transition their IT as seamlessly as possible. This would be within a 4–6-month period.
A site visit was arranged to help establish what preparatory work would need to be done in the new space ahead of their move. Also discussed was the oversight & execution of any IT install work as the move and set up itself.
Our client had already drawn up plans for desk/machine configurations for the new space which they shared with us.
A Site Survey was setup so that we could collect the required information to quote on a project for the move and any IT goods or third party suppliers needed (particular attention internal network infrastructure design and internet link provision being paramount)
We also had to determine if our client intended to decommission and recommission all existing equipment or would they like LP to do it? LP also needed to do an audit on the equipment that will be moving. Our client was happy to move the equipment themselves, so we just had to make sure the firewall, switch and internet has been tested before move day.
For this Mike & Jason went to do a site visit as the client had new fibre internet installed as well as full office rewire. Now that the firewall & switch is configured, they can install both into the comms cabinet and test the internet as well as local network to make sure all is ok.
When it came to the move day, we were asked to go to site and help with setup/connect all equipment to ensure a smooth transition.
Both Jason & Mike from the office attended the site and informed all of our client's team aware on what was going on during their visit.
Mike then Confirmed what he had checked.
Once those things had been done, we were able to leave site and leave our cliehnt to the rest of their office move.
The solution we provided was secure, as the users in the new office now have full set up with out to much downtime to effect.
If any issue, we can help quickly resolve any networking issues efficiently by remoting on to our clients’ laptops to assist.
