Our client is a UK lift company which was incorporated in 2006. They have commercial offices in Kent but in addition to this they have manufacturing and logistics facilities across the UK and Europe.

Their highly qualified management team have many years of industry experience and focus on meeting client requirements and expectations.

The Brief/Challenge

LP Networks have partnered with our client for many years providing a variety of Managed and project services.

We were asked by our client to provide assistance with their office move and this meant speaking to the building service provider as well making sure the IT downtime was limited for the staff to 8 hours.

The Solution

So, using an agile approach, LP networks engineered or provided

  • LP Networks liaised with the building service provider to deliver an internet connection for their new office.
  • LP Networks purchased and installed a new Sophos XG firewall & Datto Managed switch in the new office.
  • Moved and setup the existing computers, server, and printers in the new office.
  • Setup Sophos Connect Secure VPN for staff to remotely access onsite data and applications in the new office.


  • The solution we provided was secure, as the users in the new office now have full set up with out to much downtime to affect them.
  • Secure Internet Connection along with Firewall & Datto Managed switch to seamlessly connect devices and users across a network
