The team have already raised £567 through our Fantasy Football League entrance fees and are now busy planning the 15 challenges that will represent our values and raise much needed money for the BHF.
"I'm immensely proud of the business and how it has grown steadily over the last 14 years to where it is now, but I’m even more excited by the future, as we strive to become a first class MSP, so that we can continue to deliver and improve upon services delivered to what has been a very loyal customer base. We have progressed hugely in the last year with building a great team, introduced new internal systems, new vendor partnerships offering enhanced products and services, started a graduate program and now a Charity of the year program. I can't wait to see what 2019 and our 15th Year brings!" - Lee Pepper – Director of LP Networks
Heart and circulatory disease cause more than a quarter of yearly deaths in the UK and coronary heart disease causes twice the number of deaths in women than breast cancer. Through our work, dealing with systems and servers, we understand what can happen if one part of a circulatory system (or network in our case) goes wrong and we understand that failure can be catastrophic.
Since the British Heart Foundation was established deaths from heart and circulatory disease have halved, and the team at LP Networks want to help make that statistic even better.
We chose BHF (one of many worthy charities) but as our first venture into this sort of partnership, we chose one that was picked by the staff. It’s a great charity and they do a huge amount to raise money and awareness, we hope it has a positive effect on our own staff's well-being. They have many fun events and ways to contribute including donating not just money but time and it’s something the team at LP Networks have really wanted to be a part of.
